Conductor: Dirk Vandaele Solists: Tenor Recorder: Suzanne Frölich - Guitar: Tom Pauwels - Violin: David Nunez Piano: Kim Vandenbrempt - Live Engineering and Sound Recording: Yannick Willox with Audiomulch® Orchestra: Strings (10-8-6-6-2) Recorders (2-2-2-2) Keyboards (1 piano and 2 synthetisers) Percussions (3 players – Cimbals, Wood Blocks, Drums and small material) Guitar (12 acoustic – 2 electric and 1 bass guitar)
Explanations to perform: Manimatrix is a unbuilt puzzling work. First, the Conductor has to assemble parts with the 64 sections I composed. These pieces are presented in seven categories: MINIMATRIX (instrument solo) – SOLI (chamber Music) – TRIO – MATRIX (Quartet) – MAXIMATRIX (Quintet) – ORCHESTRA SEQUENZA (to every category of instruments) – TUTTI. All the material must not be used and the same piece can be played twice or more. And combinaison is free, even if a lot of pieces are superposed, even if tempo are differents?
